Core SEO prints no titles or tags on my site.#

Another SEO plugin is still active (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress or The SEO Framework). Core SEO waits to avoid double titles. Import its data and deactivate it — see Switching.

The editor says “Not enough text” but my page has plenty.#

Update Core SEO: the checks read the page as visitors see it, including text from your theme’s blocks.

I cannot find the Core SEO box in the block editor.#

Since WordPress 6.8, meta boxes sit in the Meta Boxes pane at the bottom of the editor; click it to open. Edit SEO in the post list opens the editor at the box.

A page shows no score, or a score with ↻.#

The page has not been measured since its last change. Click ↻ Recalculate scores in the Content screen, or update the page in the editor.

Google shows a different title than mine.#

Google rewrites titles that are too long, stuffed with keywords or not matching the page. Keep titles within the meter (600 px) and specific to the page.

Which sitemap do I submit?#

/wp-sitemap.xml. Old addresses from Yoast or Rank Math forward there.

What does the AI cost?#

You pay Anthropic directly for what you use, usually a few cents per page. There is no subscription.

Analytics counts every visit twice.#

Another plugin (or your theme) also adds Google Analytics. Keep one: leave the Analytics field in Core SEO empty, or remove the other code.
