Companion products
The products that work with News. — News. Core, JobCore and what is next.
News. ships with the required companion News. Core (newsroom features). Further products are separate downloads with their own licence — not modules inside the theme:
| Product | Status | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| News. Core | Included / required | Story settings, Premium, ads server, AI (your own API keys), live blog, polls, migrate, demo import, updates. |
| JobCore | Available | Standalone jobs board for News. sites with its own licence — employers, applications, job alerts and a front-end jobs account, plus add-ons. It does not need WP Job Manager. A News. key does not cover it — Jobs needs its own key, or Full access. See the JobCore guide. |
| Premium AI audio | Planned | Natural read-aloud with a provider key (e.g. ElevenLabs). The theme’s free Listen control keeps using the browser’s voices; paid audio is a separate licensed product. |
Every product is downloaded from your account under Downloads, always in its latest version.
